Unlike the PC version, the boats fit two mobs in them, which means you can travel with your trusty wolf to boldly go where no duo has ever gone before. I play almost solely Survival, so imagine trying to cross an ocean simply by hopping.
The new update finally adds boats, which had become necessary after Minecraft PE introduced infinite worlds.
